DOH-Sumter is issuing a rabies alert in Sumter County in response to a confirmed case of rabies in a cat that was found in the Webster area off County Road 740 in Sumter County on June 25.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federally funded program which provides the following at no cost to the participant: healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding counseling and support, and referrals for health care.
