DOH-Sumter Promotes Mental Health Summit

Sumter, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Sumter County (DOH-Sumter) invites older adults to attend a Mental Health Summit on Friday, March 13, 2026.

The event will be held from 10 A.M. – 3:45 P.M. at:

The Wildwood Community Center

6500 Powell Road

Wildwood, FL 34785

This event is dedicated to supporting older adults in understanding mental health challenges and building resilience for healthier, more fulfilling lives. The event will include speakers on various mental health topics as well as vendors from community organizations that support mental well-being. Registration guarantees entry to the event and a no-cost lunch but is not required.
